Law Firm Website Design That Brings In the Right Clients
Most people look at a law firm’s website before they pick up the phone, and many decide on the spot whether to get in touch. We design websites for law firms that feel calm and credible, explain each practice area in plain language and make it easy to book a first consultation.
5-Star Reviews
People Choose a Lawyer Long Before They Call
Someone looking for a lawyer is usually dealing with something stressful, such as a separation, a property settlement, a will or a dispute. Before they call anyone, they search, compare a few firms and look for one that seems to understand their situation.
That is where many firms lose good clients without knowing it. The website looks dated, every practice area is crammed onto one page, the solicitors are hard to find and there is no simple way to book a first conversation, so the person moves on to the next firm in the search results.
A well-planned law firm website does the opposite. It shows who you are, explains how you help in words a client understands and makes the next step easy. It is part of our wider website design service, built around the way people choose a lawyer.
What Every Law Firm Website We Build Includes
Every website is planned around how people choose a lawyer, so it builds trust before the first consultation.
A Page for Each Practice Area
Family law, property, wills and estates and every other area you cover gets its own page, so a client finds what applies to them and Google can show the right page for each search.
Solicitor Profiles That Build Trust
People want to know who they will be speaking to. Each solicitor gets a profile with their photo, experience and the areas they work in.
An Easy Way to Book a First Consultation
A clear enquiry form on every page asks the questions your team needs, so you can respond quickly and know what the matter is about before you call back.
Content That Follows the Advertising Rules
We write with the solicitors’ conduct rules in mind, so your website does not overstate what you do or call anyone a specialist unless they are accredited.
Built to Be Found on Google
Every website includes the foundations of SEO, including page titles, local search setup and fast loading, so your practice areas can show up when people search for them.
Secure and Easy to Update
Your website is built on WordPress and tested on phones and computers, and we show your team how to update profiles, practice areas and articles.
Websites for Every Type of Legal Practice
Each area of law brings different clients with different worries, so we plan the pages around what those clients need to hear first.
Family Law
People going through a separation need to feel they are in safe hands. We keep the tone calm and supportive, explain your process simply and make it easy to arrange a confidential first conversation.
Property Law and Conveyancing
Buyers and sellers often search close to a deadline and want a fast answer. Clear service pages, fee information where you choose to show it and a quick quote form help you win the work before someone else does.
Wills and Estates
These clients are often planning ahead or dealing with the loss of someone close. We explain each service in plain language, from wills and powers of attorney to estate administration, and make the first step feel easy.
Commercial, Criminal and Other Practice Areas
Business clients want to see experience and a clear process, while someone facing a criminal matter wants to know quickly that you can help. We shape each practice area page around the client who is reading it.
From Almost No Enquiries to More Than 160
Sapphire Legal’s old website brought in virtually no enquiries. We redesigned it and launched the new website in December 2024. It brought in 64 enquiries in 2025 and 99 so far in 2026, which is already more than the whole of last year.
Law Firm Websites We Have Redesigned
These are real redesigns for real law firms, showing each home page before and after we rebuilt it.
Sapphire Legal
Virtually no enquiries from the old website, and more than 160 since the new one launched in December 2024.
Yassa Legal
A Penrith property law firm, now with a more personal and professional website that introduces the principal solicitor from the first screen.
Rachel Bird & Co
A Canberra law firm with a clearer, more professional website for family law, criminal law and workers compensation clients.
A Law Firm Website Has to Follow the Rules
Your website is advertising, so it has to meet the same conduct rules as any other marketing your firm does. Most web designers do not know these rules, which is how firms end up with wording on their website they would never have approved.
Under the Australian Solicitors’ Conduct Rules, your advertising must not be false, misleading or deceptive, and you cannot use the words “accredited specialist” or anything close to them unless you hold that accreditation. That means words like “specialist” need care, and so do claims such as “the best” or “guaranteed results” that you could not back up.
We write and check every page with those rules in mind. We keep client details out of results and stories unless the client has agreed, and you review every word before anything goes live, because you know your obligations better than anyone.

How Much Does a Law Firm Website Cost?
Most law firms need a multi-page website, so each practice area and solicitor has its own page. Multi-page websites start from $4,500 + GST, and one-page websites start from $1,997 + GST for a sole practitioner or a single service.
The final price depends on how many practice areas and solicitors you need pages for, how much of the writing we do for you and any extra features such as online booking. You get a fixed quote before anything starts, so you know the full cost up front.
You can pay with a 50% deposit and 50% on completion, or spread the cost with a payment plan over 12 or 24 months. A good website is an investment, not just a cost, and for a law firm a single new matter can often cover it. Our guide to how much a website costs in Australia explains what changes the price.

We recently had our brand new website built by JS Website Design and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. Jordan and Simone were amazing to work with, they were patient with every request and always went out of their way to accommodate our needs, all with a big smile. Their communication was clear and nothing felt like too much trouble. We are so proud of the final results and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a team that genuinely cares about getting it right for their clients. THANK YOU SO MUCH SIMONE & JORDAN!! Our old website was boring, ugly, dysfunctional and not not at all showing off our best assests and skills as a building business. From our initial meeting with Jordan right through to the (millions) of emails back and forth with him and Simone, we knew we had found a team we could trust and rely on. We have next to no tech knowledge and Jordan and Simone ensured we understood everything - every single step of the way. Their design ideas have brought to life the best advertising tool for our business that we could have hoped for and given us a website we are PROUD to encourage potential clients to look at.Posted on Google![]()

Working with JS Website Design to bring my website to life has been a dream experience. I love the results, and I now have a site that is working for me, not just a portfolio site. From the beginning the process that the guys follow is clear, comprehensive and in depth. They don't just focus on the superficial side of web design, they ask the right questions to understand your business first and then design a site that not only shows people what you do, but puts your clients front and centre through structure, UX, SEO and the final design. I've enjoyed this experience, it was seamless, they were on the ball and I never felt neglected throughout. If you're looking to give your own site a facelift, then this is who I'd pick and recommend.Posted on Google![]()

I was fortunate to be recommended JS Website Design through a previous colleague and I am so glad I was able to connect with Jordan and Simone. After some horrific experiences with previous web designers for my other business that lost me time and money, JS Website Design was an absolute dream!. Streamlined processes, onboarding, design brief and regular communication, they are the absolute professionals and really care about getting it right for their clients and listening to their needs. Relieved that my new website is finally in the right hands and look forward to continuing to work with Simone and Jordan for my maintenance and SEO needs down the track.Posted on Google![]()
